How to take care or a battery and when to switch

battery health

For optimal performance, it is mandatory to replace batteries when their charge level falls below 50%.

Attempting to swap batteries at higher levels, such as 60%, 70%, or 80%, is not recommended.

Lithium-ion batteries have specific energy management requirements, and staying true to these guidelines ensures both the longevity of the battery.

As a safety feature, our bikes automatically shut down when the battery level reaches 10%. This feature ensures that the GPS remains operational. To avoid any disruption to customer rides, we strongly recommend replacing the battery when it falls below 50% charge. This will avoid the automatic shutdown and maintain a seamless experience for our customers.

Battery temperature performance

When the battery is fully charged, put the battery into environment with temperature shown in

the table for 3 hours then discharge to 39V with 10A current at the same environment. The following table shows the percentage relationship between battery’s discharged capacity and normal capacity.

low Battery warning

When the battery charge falls below 20%, the LCD display, which normally shows four bars at full charge (with each bar representing 25% charge), will begin flashing the first bar on and off. This flashing serves as a warning that the bike is at risk of shutting down. If you notice this flashing, please return to the nearest parking zone immediately.

As a fleet manager, it is advised to continuously maintain battery levels in our bike fleet. When the charge falls below 50%, consider scheduling battery replacements to prevent any disruptions for customers. Additionally, the bikes are set to automatically lock when their battery reaches 10%, even though customers receive a warning at 20% charge. Ensuring that the entire fleet maintains sufficient battery levels will contribute to smooth operations and potentially increase revenue.
